I love Art Nouveau
Anyone who knows me will know that I love Art Nouveau in any shape or form. I remember visiting the huge exhibition at the V & A on the Art Nouveau showcasing amazing decorative arts from the beginning, middle and end of the era. The pieces I remember were the dragonfly jade lady, the Parisian subway iron entrance and the amazing art of Alphonse Mucha.
After much thought I decided to do an Art Nouveau inspired illustration with the addition of a cat (I am a cat lady after all). As a change of media, I used watercolour for the background and used P
romarkers for the foreground. This will be one of a series, the next will be either a Monet or Klimt inspired illustration.
